Luka Modric ends dominance of Messi and Christiano on Ballon d'Or grip.
There are many big names in football but this time Luka Modric deserves the most. Star midfielder Luka Modric of Real Madrid and skipper of Croatian national team awarded with Ballon d'Or 2018. He changed the perception of people the way he lead his nation to the World Cup final.
Due to his brilliant performance He was awarded the fifa-golden ball '18. After that UEFA player of the year and FIFA player of the year 2018 respectively.
Many football fan are dissatisfied with the decision some of them still wants Messi and Ronaldo on the top.  So friends what I learned from this event is "ultimately what you do for the nation that matter most" .
Despite having harsh up bringing, he has spent most of his childhood in war zone, now grabs the most prestigious award. Salute to the legend!!!
