Norweign Noble Committee awarded the noble peace prize 2018 in Oslo, capital city of Norway to Denis Mukwege of Democratic Republic of Congo and Nadia Murad of Iraq for "their efforts to end the use of sexual voilence as a weapon of war and armed conflicts". Denis Mukwege He is famously known as Dr. Miracle. He and his team treated more than 30 thousands women who have been victims of sexual harassment and rape. Nadia Murad She is an Iraqi Yazidi, human right activist she was kidnapped by IS in2014 and was the victims of rape and sexual harassment. She is the founder of Nadia's Initiative, an organization dedicated to "helping women and children victimized by genocide, mass atrocities, and human trafficking to heal and rebuild their lives and communities".
