NEPAL SATELLITE - It will be a proud moment for Nepal when the satellite "Birds 3" will lunch to space by coming mid - May. According to NAST  - Nepal Academy of Science and Technology, two students from Nepal are taking the lead of the project one is pursuing a master degree in engineering and another is pursuing Ph.D. in Engineering from one of the prestigious University of JAPAN. NAST released the fund of worth Rs.20 million to make the mission successful. NAST scientist and the minister for science and technology are scheduled to head Japan for the satellite lunch program in first week of Baisakh 2076. The satellite will help to take the photographs of lake, glacier, mountains, roads etc.  Till date, the nation is using the satellite of other nation with paying handsome money. This mission definitely inspires the coming generation and will boost the technological development in Nepal in near future. - NEPAL SPACE PROGRAM
